Abstract:

This study aims to compare the standardized rates of hospitalizations for sensitive conditions to primary health care (ICSAP) in the Federal District (DF) for the last decade, comparing them with ed capital, age group and ICSAP groups. This is an ecological study with secondary datathe microdata of the Hospital Information System (SIH-SUS) for the period2009 to 2018. During this period, there was a reduction in the relative participation of ACSC between 50 to 59 and 60 to 69 years and stability in the proportion of these hospitalizations among children and adolescents in the DF. On the other hand, the non-reduction in the age groups ≤ 20 years old, a priority population in PHC, may represent access barriers for this population. The results evidenced the lack of observation of the expected effects of reduction in the proportion of ICSAP, due to the fact that the expansion of coverage of Family Health Teams was recent.
