Abstract:

The Family Health Centers (NASF) intend to expand and qualify primary healthcare activities. The work in partnership with Family Health Teams (EqSF) is based on a matrix support strategy. This article seeks present and discuss how professional the NASF develop their work, especially regarding the appropriation and incorporation of matrix support in the daily practice. The results are presented as a case study of the NASF work processes in a region of São Paulo. To investigate this issue specific issues were introduced in the various steps and procedures referenced in Ergonomic Work Analysis. The implementation of the NASF without reviewing the documents guiding the EqSF created some paradoxes, such as the different demands for productivity and work strategies between NASF and EqSF; distinct demands of population care and different priorities for action, reflected in the division of tasks and the time allotted to each of them, etc. The accumulated practice since the creation of the NASF may favor a review of these documents in order to transform organizations working set and hence create better conditions for the shared work.
