Abstract:

This study aimed to evaluate the measurement scale Oldenburg Burnout Inventory (OLBI) in Brazil. The methodology included a data collection through a quantitative survey with 273 people. For data analysis we used structural equation modeling. The scale was validated after being subjected to all statistical assumptions, reducing the original of 16 to 13 variables with a better measurement power of the Burnout syndrome that the original scale. This study contributes a scale adapted to Brazil to study the health of the worker, giving a way to measure one syndrome responsible for problems of various orders, with impacts inside and outside of organizations.
