Abstract:

This study showed the dental work in the health plans from the professional point of view, in the Intervention Bioethics light. Was performed an observational-sectional survey study circumscribed to the Federal District region. Data were collected through 108 questionnaires answered by 108 professionals of two operator modalities: self-management and group dentistry, with the purpose of knowing the professional’s perception and satisfaction in the dental work process. For self-management operator1, 38,1% of professionals said that the compensation was satisfactory, while for the self-management 2 and dental group, there was 100% dissatisfaction. Another finding was that the dental group operator imposed restrictions on the treatments of patients significantly. We conclude that there is a loss of professional autonomy, devaluation of reimbursements and precariousness of dental work in supplementary health, demonstrating ethical conflicts in this working relationship.
