Abstract:

Death, for it to be studied more, remains a mystery. Dealing with death is not at all easy and for that reason she scares. All fears of man are at bottom related to the fear of death. All of this because it is a mystery of which we know little or nothing, although it is natural to die. In view of this, religions give this topic its primary focus. Therefore, in this article I try to treat taboo about death, reflecting issues related to it. Themes that is present in people‘s lives, especially when they pass through the experience of losing someone in your family or circle of friends. Among these subjects, I reflect here on the Anointing of the Sick, the Funeral Mass, the Mass of the seventh day and the tradition of praying for the dead. Themes that help deal with the taboo of death or losing a loved one.
