Abstract:

We studied the relationship among different anthropometric indexes and lipids in plasma. Data were collected2014 to 2016 in 854 schoolchildren (6-18 years). The waist circumference (WC), percentage of body fat (%G) by bioimpedance, body mass index (BMI) and waist height ratio (RCE) were measured. Total cholesterol (CT), HDLc, and triglycerides were measured in a fasting blood sample and the Non-HDL cholesterol (Non-HDLc) was calculated. Data are presented by mean ± standard deviation or percentages. Means were compared by the t-test or ANOVA followed by the Tukey. The association between variables was tested by linear regression.
