Há escassez de estudos de base populacional relacionados a Pré-eclâmpsia. O objetivo do estudo foi analisar a distribuição espacial e temporal dos óbitos por Pré-eclâmpsia no Brasil de 2009 a 2020, incluindo o perfil sociodemográfico, padrão de distribuição e presença de aglomerados espaço-temporais. Estudo ecológico, de base populacional, tendo o território brasileiro como unidade de análise. A população foi composta pelos óbitos de gestantes e puérperas notificados de 2009 a 2020, tendo a Pré-eclâmpsia como causa básica e/ou associada. Os dados foram obtidos no Sistema de Informação sobre Mortalidade. A tendência temporal dos indicadores de mortalidade foi calculada por meio de modelos de regressão joinpoint e padronizados pela idade. Para analisar a distribuição espacial e padrão espaço-temporal do desfecho, foram utilizadas técnicas de geoprocessamento. Os resultados apontam 4.095 óbitos associados à PE em 8,9% dos municípios brasileiros. Foram identificados clusters espaciais de alto risco em maior magnitude no Nordeste (31 municípios), frente a clusters de baixo risco na região sudeste e sul. Os resultados encontrados indicam tendência predominante de ascensão do desfecho no território brasileiro com associação a variáveis relacionadas a vulnerabilidade social.

The data were obtainedthe Mortality Information System. The temporal trend of mortality indicators was calculated using joinpoint regression models and standardized by age. To analyze the spatial distribution and spatio-temporal pattern of the outcome, geoprocessing techniques were used. The results point to the registration of 4,095 deaths associated with PE in 8.9% of Brazilian municipalities. High-risk spatial clusters of greater magnitude were identified in the Northeast, in 31 municipalities, compared to low-risk clusters in the Southeast and South regions. The results indicate a predominant upward trend in the outcome in Brazilian territory, associated with variables related to social vulnerability.
