Abstract:
As a public policy, complementary therapies have been available in public health system in Brazil, since 2006. This text of qualitative characteristic and based on dataliterature and official documents has the aim of understanding the National Policy of Integrative and Complementary Practicesits presence in various space of society. Bypassing the comparation between the document and the practice of policy, a theoretical and methodological path is proposed to enable new perceptions about policy in practice. Applying the actor-network theory and the assemblage approach the analysis allow us to perceive the policy as a tangle of actions that gives rise multiple realities and contextual versions of policy, depending on actors with whom it associates. Thus, the results point out to complexity hidden under apparent singularity, revealing the plurality of actors that constitute these realities and demonstrating that the policy is dependent on the actions of other actors to it became reality. Following this analytic path is possible generate new elements that contribute to the analysis of the policy in practice, adding to the studies that emphasize the comparison between the document and the practice.
