A Terapia Ocupacional e a Saúde Coletiva são campos de conhecimentos marcados pelo dinamismo e característica de se integrar a outros campos. Dessa forma, este artigo tem por objetivo discutir e avançar na temática das aproximações e da integração entre a Saúde Coletiva e a Terapia Ocupacional, buscando uma Terapia Ocupacional em Saúde Coletiva. A partir de dados de uma pesquisa exploratória, foram sistematizadas e atualizadas algumas afinidades eletivas entre as áreas, bem como foi apresentada uma proposição teórica. Houve espaço para uma integração entre os saberes da Terapia Ocupacional e da Saúde Coletiva que pôde subsidiar a elaboração de uma matriz de inteligibidade proposta para constituir-se enquanto domínio da Terapia Ocupacional em Saúde Coletiva e proporcionar a terapeutas ocupacionais um enquadramento teórico possível de ser utilizado ao navegar pela Saúde Coletiva, em contextos variados como da assistência, pesquisa ou da gestão.
