The evaluation of utilization and coverage data were restricted to nutritional status. The percentage of utilization of SISVAN-Web refers to the number of cities that fed the system. Total coverage was defined as the percentage of individuals in all stages of the life cycle followed-up by SISVAN-Web. Results: It was found that 324 cities fed the application corresponding to a percentage of utilization of 65,3%. Total coverage of the SISVAN-Web in 2010 was 1,8%. It was observed in all Regional Coordination in Health greater system coverage at ages 0 to 5 years (10,5%) and 5-10 years (5,1%). There was a significant association between the percentage of utilization of SISVAN-Web and coverage of Family Health Strategy in each CRS (rs=–0,685; p=0,01). Conclusions: The results of this study indicated low percentages of utilization and coverage of SISVAN-Web in Rio Grande do Sul
