Os biobancos são infra-estruturas multidisciplinares e esta investigação investigativa busca expor seu conceito a partir das diversas ciências que o constroem e interpretam, a fim de compreender de forma holística seus elementos essenciais. A revisão da classificação foi realizada de acordo com o guia PRISMA e a avaliação da qualidade de acordo com Caspe resultando em um total de 30 obras selecionadas. A análise dos dados foi realizada através das categorias aristotélicas e os resultados foram interpretados em função do paradigma da complexidade de Edgar Morin. Esclareceu-se o conceito Biobanco ao considerá-lo como a representação de um fenômeno bio-sociocultural no qual os campos científicos instauram relações de tipo: complementar, antagônico e ambíguo de saberes e práticas. Este tecido de significação, desde a filosofia, impacta à construção da subjetividade e às formas de sociabilizar.
