Objetivos: Identificar e sintetizar evidências científicas acerca das vivências do racismo em pessoas idosas negras. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão de escopo conduzida conforme a estrutura metodológica proposta pelo Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). Realizaram-se buscas nas bases: Lilacs, Medline/PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science e Embase. Para busca de literatura cinzenta, utilizou-se as bases: Google Acadêmico; Cochrane Library; Catálogo de Teses e Dissertações (CAPES); Cybertesis e NDLTD Resultados: As buscas resultaram em 1778 referências e amostra final foi composta por 13 estudos. As vivências do racismo em saúde foram verificadas em todos os estudos, e estavam relacionadas a dimensão biopsicossocial da saúde. Conclusões: Os resultados, possibilitaram inferir que entre as diversas manifestações do racismo, suas vivências estão mais diretamente ligadas à saúde biopsicossocial. O estudo apresentou categorias de análise para cada uma das vivências do racismo sendo estas vivências unanimes em apontar para iniquidades em saúde na dimensão biopsicossocial, muito embora sejam necessários aprofundamentos que favoreçam a inclusão, compreensão e investigação das vivências do racismo em pessoas idosas negras.

Methods: This is a scoping review conducted according to the methodological framework proposed by the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). Searches were conducted in the following databases: Lilacs, Medline/PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Embase. For gray literature, the following sources were used: Google Scholar, Cochrane Library, CAPES Theses and Dissertations Catalog, Cybertesis, and NDLTD. Results: The search yielded 1778 references, and the final sample consisted of 13 studies. Experiences of racism in healthcare were identified in all studies and were related to the biopsychosocial dimension of health. Conclusions: The results suggest that among the various manifestations of racism, its experiences are most directly linked to biopsychosocial health. The study presented analytical categories for each of the experiences of racism, all of which unanimously pointed to health inequities within the biopsychosocial dimension. However, further research is necessary to promote the inclusion, understanding, and investigation of the experiences of racism among older Black individuals.
