0224/2024 - Exposição parental ambiental e ocupacional aos agrotóxicos e câncer infanto-juvenil: uma revisão sistemática Environmental and occupational parental exposure to pesticides and childhood cancer: a systematic review
Objetivo: Descrever e sistematizar os efeitos e características da exposição parental ambiental e ocupacional aos agrotóxicos no desenvolvimento do câncer infanto-juvenil (CIJ). Métodos: Realizou-se revisão sistemática da literatura (RSL) nas bases de dados BVS, MEDLINE, Pubmed, SciELO, Lilacs e BDENF conduzida a partir da estratégia PICOS e das recomendações da declaração Prisma. Foram incluídos estudos de coorte e caso-controle que investigaram associação entre a exposição parental e os CIJ. Os achados foram sistematizados por temas e categorias temáticas. Resultados: Foram encontrados 116 artigos, dos quais 20 artigos foram incluídos com base nos critérios da RSL. A exposição parental ambiental por agrotóxicos em residências foi mais frequente. A principal exposição ocupacional foi o trabalho na agricultura. A exposição ocorreu no período preconcepção, gestação ou na primeira infância, principalmente pelos agrotóxicos dos grupos químicos herbicidas e inseticidas organofosforados. Conclusão: Dos 20 artigos incluídos, apenas 2 não identificaram associação. Os demais indicam associação ou aumento de chance para CIJ na exposição parental ocupacional e ambiental aos agrotóxicos, principalmente leucemias.

Cohort and case-control studies that investigated the association between parental exposure and CIJ were included. The findings were systematized by themes and thematic categories. Results: 116 articles were found, of which 20 articles were included based on the RSL criteria. Environmental parental exposure to pesticides in homes was more frequently. The main occupational exposure was agricultural work. Exposure occurred in the pre-conception period, pregnancy or early childhood, mainly by pesticidesthe chemical group’s herbicides and organophosphate insecticides. Overall: Of the 20 articles included, only 2 did not identify any association. The others indicate an association or increased chance of CIJ in parental and environmental occupational exposure to pesticides, mainly on the development of leukemia.
