Abstract:

The paper aims to analyze dialogism between the narrative of Franz Kafka in \"The Metamorphosis\" and the discursive practices about mental worker\'s health. Based on theoretical and methodological perspective guided by Mikhail Bakhtin, this study developed a discursive analysis of Kafka\'s narrative based on the concepts of Ergonomics of Activity and Labour Psychodynamic. The results of this analysis, based on referencesthe field of Mental Health at Work, indicated that dialogical relations were established in two main areas: (a) the invisibility of the worker\'s suffering, and (b) woker´s defense strategy and renormatizations. These aspects indicate, therefore, a point of convergence between discourse on mental health in the literature, the discourse analysis of the workers\' practice and the knowledge scientific about worker´s mental health. The paper highlights a work by Kafka as a play in a broader setting of a discursive practice already established in the name of mental health and work.
