Abstract:

Biobanks are multidisciplinary infrastructures and this integrative research seeks to expose their conceptthe different sciences that construct and interpret it, in order to understand its essential elements in a holistic way. The integrative review was carried out following the PRISMA guide and the quality assessment according to Caspe resulting in a total of 30 ed works. The analysis of the data was carried out through the Aristotelian categories and the results were interpreted according to the complexity paradigm of Edgar Morin. The Biobank concept was clarified by considering it as the representation of a bio-socio-cultural phenomenon in which the scientific fields develop relationships of type: complementary, antagonistic and ambiguous knowledge and practices. This network of significance,philosophy, impacts the construction of subjectivity and forms of socialization.
