Abstract:

The present study aimed to analyze the perception of the use of teleconsultation by doctorsthe Unified Health System in Campo Grande/MS, as an auxiliary tool for the care of SUS patients in this municipality, addressing effectiveness, satisfaction and access to results, aimed at doctorsdifferent specialties. Of a total population of 127 professionals, 100 voluntarily participated in the research. The results demonstrated that teleconsultation was perceived as advantageous, highlighting the exchange of knowledge (44.1%) and the reduction in waiting time (42.5%). Disadvantages included low investment in the operational structure (25.2%) and technical communication difficulties (23.6%). The reliability of the teleinterconsultation system, in terms of security in data sharing, varied, but the average effectiveness was evaluated as 8.0. Teleconsultation proved to be innovative, providing an intense exchange of knowledge and reducing waiting times. Although it presents technical challenges, most doctors perceived it as effective and safe. Teleconsultation, implemented during the pandemic and evaluated in Campo Grande/MS, proved to be a valuable alternative, standing out for its efficiency, collaboration between specialists and reduction of access barriers.
