Abstract:

This study evaluated the physicians\' adherence and perception about the Clinical Protocol and Therapeutic Guidelines on Parkinson Disease (PCDT-DP) published by the Brazilian Ministry of Health. Analysis of 375 drug applications documents sent to the Pharmaceutical Services of the State Public Health Department of Rio Grande do Sul (AF/SES/RS) were carried out, between March and September 2016. A structured survey to evaluate the physician\'s perception about the protocol and barriers to its use was accomplished. Only 5.33% of the administrative medicines’ requests for DP presented all the necessary data, considering the criteria described.
