Abstract:

This is a summary on the recently published book "The man‘s health in focus" Romeo Gomes, who focuses on issues dear to the collective health and the important men‘s health care practices, models of gender, sexuality and violence. It is noteworthy that this work is to read a current and timely, by clear and objective approach to an emerging theme in the health field, and its multiple possibilities of contribution to the reflections that focus on the male, without voiding the importance of women in the discussions on health care.
