TuberculoseAim: To analyze tuberculosis (TB) record before and after the implementation of the Information System for Registration Assistance to TB in Ribeirao Preto-SP. Methods: This descriptive and analytical epidemiological study of type intervention. Data were collectedsecondary sourcesa structured questionnaire and analyzed using Chi-square test or Fisher‘s exact with 5% significance level. Results: We identified an association between the before period of implementation of the system with the filing of the Treatment Directly Observed in the medical record and the return of guidance record to queries by the nursing staff. The after period was associated with the increase in telephone contact record and address the TB patient, date of completion of TB treatment, foreclosure situation, the result of sputum smear microscopy for monthly control, HIV testing, monthly visits and request tests performed by the doctor, attendance with social workers, living conditions of the patient, communicating control, social incentives and use of alcohol and drugs. Conclusion: The implementation system has enabled the improvement in the registration of some variables, although other record sources have remained that were not the system itself.
