0131/2023 - Dealing with STI epidemics in a young population: characterization of the language of educational materials Enfrentamento de epidemias de ISTs em população jovem: caracterização da linguagem dos materiais educativos
Objetive: to characterize the language used in educational and communication materials linked to the theme of STIs, HIV/AIDS and Viral Hepatitis, produced and disseminated by the Ministry of Health from 2009 to 2019, identifying elements of health promotion and disease prevention. An exploratory descriptive methodology was adopted to characterize the language used in educational and communication materials of STIs, HIV/AIDS and Viral Hepatitis. For the selection of educational materials, the systematic search strategy carried out on the website of the Ministry of Health of Brazil was adopted for a period of 10 years: 2010 to 2019. These materials were observed through the Educational Approaches. Results: The Preventive Approach was identified in 100% of the materials analyzed (201). The Educational Aapproach was found in 24, 87% (50) of the materials and the Personal Development Approach was found in 7.96% (16). The Radical Approach and the Popular Health Education Approach were not observed. Conclusion: By almost exclusively focusing on the Preventive Approach, it is revealed that individual care alone is not enough to fight and solve the problem of STIs, HIV/AIDS and Viral Hepatitis in Brazil.

Enfrentamento de epidemias de ISTs em população jovem: caracterização da linguagem dos materiais educativos
Abstract(resumo):
Objetivo: caracterizar a linguagem utilizada nos materiais educativos e comunicacionais vinculados à temática das IST, do HIV/Aids e Hepatites Virais, produzidos e veiculados pelo Ministério da Saúde no período de 2009 a 2019, identificando elementos de promoção à saúde e de prevenção de doenças. Metodologia: descritiva exploratória para a caracterização da linguagem utilizada nos materiais educativos e comunicacionais sobre as IST, do HIV/Aids e Hepatites Virais. Para a seleção dos materiais educativos, adotou-se a estratégia de busca sistemática realizada no site do Ministério da Saúde do Brasil por um período de 10 anos: de 2010 a 2019. Os materiais foram observados por meio dos Enfoques Educativos. Resultados: O Enfoque Preventivo foi identificado em 100% dos materiais analisados (201). O Enfoque Educativo foi encontrado em 24, 87% (50) dos materiais e o Enfoque de Desenvolvimento pessoal foi encontrado em 7,96% (16). O Enfoque Radical e o Enfoque da Educação Popular em Saúde não foram observados. Conclusão: O foco quase exclusivo no Enfoque Preventivo revela que cuidados individuais isoladamente não são suficientes para combater e sanar o problema das IST, do HIV/Aids e das Hepatites Virais no Brasil.
