Abstract:
Trata-se da resenha do livro O Preço de um Crime Socioambiental: os bastidores do processo de reparação do rompimento da barragem da Vale em Brumadinho, o maior desastre humanitário do Brasil, de Marina Paula Oliveira. Nele, a autora analisa o crime da Vale em Brumadinho, desde sua origem na economia política internacional da mineração, até ao acordo firmado entre a empresa e o Estado, sem a participação popular.It is about the review of the book The Price of a Socio-environmental Crime: the scenes of the process of repairing the break in the barrage of Vale in Brumadinho, or the greatest humanitarian disaster in Brazil, by Marina Paula Oliveira. The author, analyzes the crime of Vale in Brumadinho,its origin in the international political economy of mining, based on the agreement signed between the company and the State, without popular participation.
