Abstract:

The objectives were to analyze the interval between the dates of notification and data entry of suspected dengue cases and to discuss the properties of epidemiological data monitoring dashboards. Applied research with quantitative analysis of the time between notification and data entry, using the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM), supported the construction of the dashboards. This was developed at the Center for Strategic Health Surveillance Information in Campo Grande in 2022 and 2023. The results revealed a period exceeding seven days in 93.33% of cases. The monitored dashboards included Arboviruses, Respiratory Syndromes, Attendance, and quantitative and qualitative notifications. Data integration was observed, as information consumption and manipulation are performed in Power BI, consolidating datatwo to four health information systems and other databases. Contextual study and its temporal relationship are fulfilled in all dashboards with epidemiological indicators and temporal analyses. Usability is ensured through the use of standardized color schemes and familiar graphics. The study concludes the relevance of using interactive epidemiological dashboards for decision-making in health surveillance and health management.
