Abstract:

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of digital technologies facilitated communication between professionals, patients, and health systems. The incorporation of these technologies enhanced the resilience of public health systems, contributing to the direct response to the pandemic. The objective of this paper is to describe the development, utilization, and adaptation of e-SUS Vacinação during and after the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil, highlighting its contributions to the resilience of the Unified Health System (SUS). This study included a descriptive design that analyzes the development and application of e-SUS Vacinação, evaluating the application through data comparison, pilot projects, Google Analytics analyses, and user usability surveys. The application demonstrated a reduction of up to 95% in the time required to fill out information, with over 338,000 immunobiologicals administered by 107,000 active users. The application's usability was rated at 4.10, indicating a favorable responseusers. Therefore, e-SUS Vacinação exemplifies the resilience of digital technologies in healthcare, reinforcing their importance for the continuity and effectiveness of vaccination campaigns in Brazil.
