Abstract:

The attendance to the buccal health needs to be redirected, so that it can be constituted in strategy, truly, effective, tends as basic condition, the several actors related to their "problem" participation, led in search of the improvement of quality populations’ life. The aim of this study was to evaluate the service of buccal health through the study of the users' perceptions, at Grão Mogol city – Brazil. The methodology was the qualitative research, with the technique of the semi-structured interview, privileging the users involved in the dental attendance. Several aspects about the perception of buccal process-health/desease – were investigated: know ledge; practices related to the buccal health; services’ acess; professional/patient’s relationship; and how pacients receive the attendance. The interviews were analyzed, obtaining the central ideas in each approached theme, which was considered in the final analysis of the study. It was observed that service of buccal health, in City, begins a period of changes the prevention and the promotion of the health start to be taked in among the actions of health as an important aspect to improve the attendance of buccal health. The users realize the evolution of the service, but admit the way of the access and relationship professional/patient need to be improved.
