Abstract:

This study evaluated the work ability of motorcycle taxi drivers and its association with sociodemographic and labor factors and quality of life. It is a cross-sectional study realized with 392 motorcycle taxi drivers. Was used a form containing demographic and labor data, Work Ability Index and the WHOQOL-bref. It employed descriptive and inferential analysis. The prevalence of moderate/good ability to work was 51%. Motorcycle taxi drivers with 40 or more years had a 31% increase in low ability to work (PR: 1.31; 95% CI: 1.07; 1.61) compared to younger workers.
