Abstract:

Objective: To identify factors associated with longer breastfeeding duration. Methods: A nested case control study was carrying out with mothers two years after to be enrolled into a born cohortJoão Pessoa city, Paraiba State. 55 cases who breastfed less than 15 months were compared with 48 controls who breastfed for longer than 15 months.
