Abstract:

Primary Health Care is a current management tool, which has better indicators and greater equity. Although there is a substantial increase in the number of medical residency vacancies in Family and Community Medicine, there is still poor distribution. A cooperation partnership between Fundação Oswaldo Cruz and the municipality of Campo Grande – MS, through the Primary Health Care Innovation Project and today coordinated by the Integrated Health Care Territories Project, presents actions based on and applicable in practice, the innovation of assistive technologies to support family and community medicine and multidisciplinary family health residency programs. Cross-sectional quantitative descriptive study, which presents the results obtained in the process of building residency programs. Results show growth in the evolution of individualized medical, nursing and dental care at a percentage of 86.94%, 81.97%, 81.80% and 66%, respectively. The improvement in the quality of the record, the change in the work process in dentistry, and the empowerment of nursing with care protocols in front of outpatient consultations stimulated by the teaching and service process of residency programs contributed to the growth percentage. However, it is necessary to constantly provide more qualified teams for assertive actions to comply with management indicators.
