Geospatial innovations played a fundamental role in the different stages of carrying out the 2022 Demographic Census, especially in the preparation of the Territorial Base, essential for planning and monitoring the collection; in the organization and integration of fundamental areas, a basic principle for the development of a geostatistical framework for a country and in the implementation of spatial intelligence in questionnaires, providing better quality in the identification and investigation of Traditional Peoples and Communities. The objective of this article is to describe the role of geoinformation in operational planning, collection and monitoring of coverage of the 2022 Demographic Census, presenting a holistic view of all operations carried out in the preparation of the census operation and during enumeration, highlighting the role of geoinformation in planning the territorial base, in the importance of the Geographic Framework and the georeferencing of the questionnaire.
Inovações geoespaciais e suas contribuições para a qualidade e as investigações do Censo Demográfico 2022
Abstract(resumo):
As inovações geoespaciais desempenharam um papel fundamental nas diferentes etapas da realização do Censo Demográfico 2022, em especial no preparo da Base Territorial, fundamental para o planejamento e acompanhamento da coleta; na organização e integração dos recortes territoriais, princípio básico para o desenvolvimento de um quadro geoestatístico e na implementação de uma inteligência espacial nos questionários, proporcionando uma melhor qualidade na identificação e investigação dos Povos e Comunidades Tradicionais. O objetivo deste artigo é descrever o papel da geoinformação no planejamento operacional, na coleta e no monitoramento da cobertura do Censo Demográfico 2022 apresentando uma visão holística de todas as operações realizadas na preparação da operação censitária e durante a coleta, destacando o papel da geoinformação no planejamento da base territorial, na importância do Quadro Geográfico e o georreferenciamento do questionário.
