Abstract:

This paper discusses the role of Haitian community radios in strengthening the social mobilization in order to support actions in the public health scope in Haiti, from the construction and development of a workshop for community radios, in the Tripartite Cooperation Brazil-Cuba-Haiti. The qualitative methodology is justified by its study content, which consists of document analyses and direct observation through a case study carried out in the Workshop held in the Department of Hinches, Haiti. The event was performed in the scope of the Tripartite Communication Working Group, under Canal Saúde/Fiocruz‘s responsibility, in partnership with the Department of Health Promotion and Environment Protection of the Ministry of Health and Population of Haiti (DPSPE/MSPP/Haiti), with the objective of building a network of health promotion multipliers.
