Abstract:

Before the dimension of the problem of the violence against child and adolescent for the collective health, this article analyzes the process of notification of violence in children and adolescents for doctors, nurses and dentists of the family health teams in Fortaleza-Ceará, in the exercise of professional practice. It is treated of a study of cut-traverse with the 359 professionals' participation, registered in the Teams of Health of the Family (THF). The questionnaire was used, whose collected data were organized, codified, tabulated and submitted to the descriptive statistical analysis and calculations of the significant statistics measures, through the test qui-square of Pearson (x2) with respective value of p = 0,05, in the program Statistical Social Package Sciences-SPSS, version 13.0 goes Windows. It is observed that 52% of the professionals don't know the notification record and 69% never participated of training in the area. The time of formation is significant statistics in the notification of cases (p=0,002). it is Ended that the notification of child abuse for professionals of THF happens of punctual way and not systematic, in that sense, the increment of programs of continuous formation and the amplification of the nets of professional support they can reduce the insecurity degree and to increase the number of notifications of cases of child abuse.
