Abstract:

The objective of this research was to identify and analyze the themes of body culture mobilized in the interventions of Physical Education professionals working in Psychosocial Care Centers – CAPS and understand their presence in urban spaces outside the CAPS. We conducted data collection through semi-structured interviews with 18 Physical Education professionals, members of the teams of 8 CAPS in the city of Goiânia / GO. Data were analyzed using the content analysis technique. The results indicated that the interventions involve different themes. The activities that in the social imagination are more related to the perspective of development of physical fitness are present, being \"sports\" and \"physical and gymnastic exercises\" the most reported. However, there is a scope for others that are less marked by the expectation of development of physical fitness.
