Abstract:

A qualitative study - case study method was carried with the aim of analyzing the inter professional relationships produced by a planned dischargethe nursing actions perspective during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study method was the participating observation of one nurse who works in a large SUS hospital in São Paulo city. The production of narratives and the micro politics analysis brought about two diverse visibility plans: Beyond the planned discharge the cannibalism of the technological arrangements for care and the ambivalence of the nursing staff in the production of inter professional relationships. The medical discharge and negotiated discharge: the intersecting with other professionals, with the families and with life as is. The pandemic interrupted the multi professional visits and it was an analyzer of the inter professional relationships. Wittingly, the nursing staff negotiates the discharges with doctors, who withhold this power, and sets the team in motion using an elastic autonomy. The planned discharge alone was not able to guarantee a common inter professional action plan, was not able to modify the constituted roles in the hospital, a situation that increased during the pandemic, but allowed for the right setting to increase the professionalism of the team.
