Abstract:

The paper presents the relationship between the allocation of financial resources and typology of basic local health infrastructure in Brazilian municipalities.For data analysis, multiple correspondence analysis and quantile regression between expenditure / control variables and the typology of the Basic Health Units were used. An initial database of 5,570 municipalities is used. The results point to the to the need to improve health resources governance, municipalities with lower socioeconomic indicators have infrastructure in primary care in categories 1 - Disapproved and 2 - Rudimentary , inferior.
