Abstract:

This study analyzes the regionalization of the Network\'s services of Psychosocial Care (RAPS) in the state of Minas Gerais / Brazil, generating indicators capable of enhancing the strategic management of SUS and strengthening the psychosocial care provided. It is a cross-sectional study, carried outdata collected in May 2019 on government websites, taking the state\'s Macro-Regions and Health Regions as units of analysis. Indicators of service coverage in relation to the population were produced, according to normative parameters of the Ministry of Health, and a general indicator (iRAPS) of the supply of services in this network in MG was validated. The founded results allow a detailed analysis of the structural aspect of RAPS in MG and demonstrated the implementation of a robust network. However, important regional heterogeneities and also a lack of services aimed at specific populations and open 24 hours a day were founded, which weakens the adequate access to RAPS in several territories of the state. Higher values of iRAPS were found in health regions with low socioeconomic development and low general offer of health services, a fact that differsthe national scenario, which may suggest an investment of state policy in the interiorization of RAPS in MG.
