Abstract:

The present study aimed to do a integrative literature revision about the homicide resonances on victims’ families. The majority of the analyzed studies reported researches conducted in the United States. Less studies have been conducted in Brazil and in other countries. Four main themes were identified: Health impacts, The family system after homicide, Revictimization factors and Facilitating aspects of post-homicide. The findings of this study reveal the importance of an interdisciplinary attention focused on victims’ families, considering their health, social, financial and legal needs.
