Abstract:

This is the book review named “Corra para ser feliz” written by English journalist Bella Mackie. The author focuses on her personal experiences, bringing the theme of street racing as a key motivational element for improving her mental health. For professionals who have physical exercise as an object of reflection and intervention, the book becomes relevant to the discussion about how this physical activity can contribute to the treatment of people who seek to get out of moments of emotional crisis, but not only results. with psychological counseling and medication use. The following narrative credits the habit of running as the overcoming element of his psychological trauma. The book leads the reader to reflections on personal pressures that add up to personal expectations in this late 2010s, especially for women.
