0052/2020 - Risk factors involved in obesity in adolescents: An integrative review. Os fatores de risco envolvidos na obesidade no adolescente: Uma revisão integrativa.
The object of this study was the risk factors for the development of obesity in adolescence. The objective of this study was to identify the risk factors of obesity in adolescents, through an Integrative Literature Review. The PICO strategy was used to make the following guiding question: What are the risk factors for the development of obesity in adolescence? The research portals consulted were VHL and EBSCOhost, resulting in a study corpus with 25 articles. The phenomenon of obesity was understood as a result of biological, social, psychological and nutritional factors. The articles did not show a consensus on the risks and benefits, which hinders the development of recommendations of evidence.The study allowed identifying proposals likely to be implemented, such as the modification of eating habits, weight control and the practice of physical exercises. Such behavioral modification can be recommended for the family, schools and health services contexts. The review allows for recommending prevention strategies and thinking of school as a rich space for health promotion through education. From the point of view of political and social development, there is need to face advertisements of the food industry that attract young people to consume processed foods high in fat and sugar.

Os fatores de risco envolvidos na obesidade no adolescente: Uma revisão integrativa.
Abstract(resumo):
O objeto deste estudo foi os fatores de risco para o desenvolvimento da obesidade na adolescência. Como objetivo buscou-se identificar os fatores de risco da obesidade nos adolescentes, através de uma Revisão Integrativa da Literatura. Utilizou-se a estratégia PICO para se formular a seguinte pergunta norteadora: Quais são os fatores de risco para o desenvolvimento da obesidade na adolescência? Os portais de pesquisa consultados foram: BVS e EBSCOhost, nos quais o corpus do estudo ficou com 25 artigos. O fenômeno da obesidade foi entendido como resultante de fatores biológicos, sociais, psicológicos enutricionais. Constatou-se que não existe um consenso sobre riscos e benefícios, o que dificulta recomendações de evidência. Identificou-se, ainda, propostas passíveis de serem implementadas: a modificação de hábitos alimentares, controle de peso e prática de exercícios físicos. Tais modificações comportamentais podem ser recomendadas para os contextos familiares, escolares e dos serviços de saúde. A revisão recomenda estratégias de prevenção e pensar a escola como um espaço rico para promoção da saúde através da educação. Do ponto de vista político e social é preciso enfrentar as propagandas da indústria alimentícia que seduz os adolescentes a consumirem alimentos processados e ricos em gordura e açúcar.
