The objective was to establish cutoff points for sex for the evaluation of the fragility components of elderly residents in the community. A cross-sectional population-based study with 555 elderly people enrolled in the Family Health Strategies; Selected by proportional stratified sampling. Abstract(resumo):
O objetivo foi estabelecer pontos de corte por sexo para a avaliação dos componentes de fragilidade de idosos residentes na comunidade. Estudo transversal de base populacional, com 555 idosos adscritos as Estratégias Saúde da Família; selecionados por amostragem estratificada proporcional. Foram avaliados dados socioeconômicos e os componentes do fenótipo de fragilidade. Quanto à classificação de fragilidade, 17,7% dos idosos eram frágeis, 45,4%pré-frágeis e 36,9% não-frágeis.
