Abstract:

This article aims to investigate the influence of organizational ties in the consolidation of the anti-asylum policy, at Psychosocial Care Center – “Centro de Atenção Psicossocial”(CAPS) – II and AD (Alcohol and Drugs) in the city of Petrolina-PE. Based on a qualitative research, interviews were conducted with a multiprofessional team from both CAPS, with the sample consisting of one representative from each professional category. A critical review of the data was based on content analysis with emphasis on categorization. The results showed that, in general, teams do not have a sufficient theoretical knowledge about the system on which they take part of. Moreover, although there is a high level of satisfaction, low working conditions and lack of professional recognition and labor input can end up affecting the institutional dynamics. Finally, it was also established a quantitative equivalence in affective and calculative aspects of organizational commitment and close relationship between length of service and involvement with work.
