Abstract:

This article aimed to identify and understand the meanings of the family in a pandemic situation of COVID-19 for adolescents in Northeastern Brazil. It is qualitative research, using the DE-T Procedure. 32 adolescentsnortheastern Brazil participated. There were 13 themes, the most incident being: physical distance; expressed feelings; integrating family relationships; technological devices; disintegrating family relationships. It concludes about the representation of family power in facing the pandemic, as well as about family suffering and suffering in the face of the public health problem that plagues the country.
