Abstract:

In this article we intend to provoke reflections on the research with children raising aspects related to ethics, method, play and contextualized activities. The possibility of recognizing adult authority as a mediator of interactional craftsmanship in the construction of the research environment also composes the backstage and its craftsmanship. It builds on a survey of six-year-olds in schools whose focus was on the psychometric analysis of items in a test in construction. Returning the memories of this environment we discuss the importance of the protagonism of the child as research subject. The foundation is anchored in the perspective of the sociology of childhood, discussing the interactional craftsmanship. We conclude on the possibility of recognizing this role in the engagement of negotiations with reference adults.
