Abstract:

Interventions in work environments, processes and situations include the prevention of diseases, accidents and the maintenance of workers\' health. They started at the Ministry of Labour; were extended to Health and finally taken over by the Public Ministry of Labor. We sought to know and give visibility to the work of actorsdifferent sectors and institutions in the city of São Paulo involved in these interventions and to understand obstacles and consequences of the limits of intersectoriality. Between 2017 and 2019, reflection groups were held on the work with professionalsML, Health and PML. For the production of data and analysis of the material, the Psychodynamics of Work framework was used. The three sectors are closely linked in their objectives, but in São Paulo, they continue to have difficulties in consolidating the intersectoriality foreseen in the health and safety policies at work. Although there are occasional partnerships, adding their specificities of action, recognizing and reciprocally respecting the expertise of each one, avoiding overlaps, and building joint, cooperative and collaborative practices is a challenge. The integration of knowledge and practices could reduce the burden on everyone, and join forces to resist the dismantling of the health and work area.
