Abstract:

Objective: the aim of this study was to verify the appropriateness of the minimum numerical parameters of reference in relation to mandatory assignments of nutritionists in the South of Brazil according to CFN resolution 465/2010. Methods: Cross-sectional study with a representative sample of responsible people of PNAE who work at school feeding in southern of Brazil (PR, SC and RS). Questionnaires were sent electronically to the responsible of PNAE. The results obtained were compared with the recommendations of Resolution CFN 465/2010, regarding the mandatory assignments and adaptation to the minimum numerical parameters rules by this Resolution. Results: The results show non-conformity in 71,6% cities of South of Brazil regarding the amount of nutritionists demanded according to the minimum numerical parameters reference to Resolution 465/2010 CFN. This reflects inadequately in the nutritionist tasks in the PNAE. Conclusions: These inadequacies reinforce the need for partnership-building and intersectoral work to strengthen the implementation of PNAE, in addition to ratify the need to ensure working conditions envisaged in legislation to enable the professional to perform their activities as planned.
