Abstract:

The article analyzes how the phenomenon of precariousness of work is expressed in the daily life of a Prison Primary Care Team, located in the Southern Region of Brazil. It is a qualitative, exploratory research, with application of the focal group technique and participation of ten health professionals. There were evidences of processes of precarization of the occupational bond, objectified by the outsourcing of the work force; the insufficiency in the proper management of work processes; and, little provision for professional specific qualification and actions consistent with occupational reality.
